What made your life so much worse than everyone else around you. What did mom and dad not give you? What did we fail to do that led u to where u are today. U lived with 4 ppl that loved you. The only people in the world that would do anything possible for you. You lived with them! Not like those friends of urs whose parent kicked them out. Yours loved u. Yours fed and clothed u and gave u everything u needed. But u didn’t know any of this. You grew up as this selfish kid who was owed everything. What were u willing to pay back? Why are u so different than me? I grew up in that house we all got kicked out of. I answered the door with the police on the other side. I saw people ransack our home that was no longer ours. You didn’t. All u saw was mom and dad desperately trying to get their life back. Working their asses off to give us everything our friends had 10x more of. But it wasn’t enough. Do u know what an embarrassment u are? Because the funny thing is, it’s not at all embarrassment, it’s deep sadness. Everyone knows us. Random strangers approach us with aa cards and help. I ask mom how they know. Her response “everyone knows. We know the families as ‘the kid that died on bryan,’ ‘the one that fell asleep and crash, everyone knows us.’ how the fuck did we become this family!?
